The Syn-Xpress™ kit is designed for users seeking a simple, fast, and reliable solution to produce their protein of interest using cell-free protein synthesis (CFPS). It contains the cell lysate along with a complete energy mix (nucleotides, energy source, amino acids, salts, and cofactors), pre-formulated to ensure optimal performance.

With Syn-Xpress™, you only need to add your expression DNA (plasmid or linear) and, if necessary, specific additives (cofactors, chaperones, ions, etc.) depending on the requirements of your target protein. This configuration provides significant time savings while ensuring high reproducibility.

Each Syn-Xpress™ kit has a control plasmid encoding synGFP, a GFP optimized for cell-free expression. This control allows you to validate your experimental conditions.

The Syn-Xpress™ kit includes:

Notes :
The 96 x 50 µL format is provided directly in a 96-well plate, while the other formats are supplied in tubes.
The kits are composed of 80% Mastermix, leaving you with 20% of the final reaction volume to add your DNA, any potential additives, and nuclease-free water to reach the desired volume. For example, the 50 µL kits contain 40 µL of Mastermix, and the 1 mL kits contain 800 µL of Mastermix.

Custom formats are available upon request, enabling high-throughput screening or scale-up. When scaling up, the system’s yields remain linear.
